CCTV of cash machine theft from shop in Abercarn

This is the moment burglars ripped a window off a post office before picking up a cash machine and making off with it in a pick-up truck.

The raid happened at Llanfach Post Office, Abercarn, Caerphilly county, on Thursday at about 04:30 GMT, Gwent Police said.

CCTV shows a tow rope being used to loosen the free-standing machine inside the store before it is pulled out.

The machine, which contained a "substantial" quantity of cash, was later found empty on Machen mountain.
