Adamsdown building fire smoke visible for miles

Smoke from a large fire at a disused building in the Adamsdown area of Cardiff is visible for miles around.

Police and fire crews have evacuated neighbouring properties in Pearl Street and nearby roads have been shut.

Around 40 firefighters are at the three-storey building which was previously a bingo hall and club, with crews brought in from across Cardiff, Barry and Caerphilly.

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said no casualties had been reported.
