'Reclaim the game' derby campaign for Wrexham and Chester
About 1,000 fans of rival football teams Wrexham and Chester have signed up to an online campaign to ease tension ahead of Saturday's derby match and "reclaim the game" for true supporters.
The clubs, both run by supporters' groups, launched the campaign, external in a bid to "normalise" the fixture which is dubbed a "bubble" game, with extra security and restrictions on travel and ticket sales because a minority of fans caused "unruly behaviour" in the past.
Wrexham director Spencer Harris said both clubs wanted to see kick-off returned to a more traditional time of 15:00 GMT rather than two hours earlier.
