Cardiff University scanner takes a look at my brain

A milestone in the development of a new £44m brain research imaging centre takes place on Thursday.

Completion of the main building work will be marked at the Cubric centre at Cardiff University, which will have one of the most sophisticated MRI scanners in the world.

It will allow scientists to look at how brains work in minute detail.

BBC Wales health correspondent Owain Clarke took a look at one of the new scanners - which in turn took a closer look at him.
