Labour's Owen Smith: 'We need hard look at ourselves'

Welsh MP Owen Smith has said the Labour party needs to ask "searching questions" of itself after the general election result.

The shadow Welsh secretary said the examination needs to "honest and transparent" so the party can move forward.

"The fact is we lost and there are complicated reasons for that and we just need a very hard look at ourselves," he added.
