Children's Hospital of Wales: Comforts of home the key

A decade since it first opened, a significant milestone will be marked in the history of Wales' only hospital dedicated to caring for children.

The first minister will join patients, staff and celebrities to officially open the £64m second phase of the Noah's Ark Children's Hospital for Wales in Cardiff.

The project means almost all the specialisms involving children - currently provided at the University Hospital of Wales - will be under one roof for the first time.

Providing dignity and comfort to children at a stressful time is key and home comforts including computer games aim to make patients' stay more manageable.

BBC Wales health correspondent Owain Clarke talked to kidney patient Hareth - and lost badly - at a video game of football.
