The Hay Festival to 'inspire' thousands of book lovers

The 10-day Hay book festival is underway, with around 85,000 people expected to descend on the Powys border town.

Stephen Fry and Jude Law are among the notable visitors this year to what Bill Clinton described as "the Woodstock of the mind".

The festival's director Peter Florence said you can "see people's minds changing whilst they listen to people who inspire them."

Huw Thomas reports.
