Glan Clwyd Hospital: Patient treatment was 'inexcusable'
The treatment of patients at a Denbighshire mental health ward was "inexcusable", the boss of the health board in charge has said.
An investigation into the Tawel Fan ward of Bodelwyddan's Glan Clwyd Hospital has proven a string of damning allegations.
Patients were kept like "captured animals" at the ward, relatives told an independent report.
Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board chief executive, Prof Trevor Purt, told BBC Wales he had issued a "complete and unreserved apology".
