Wales' national theatres combine to stage Patagonia play

The two national theatres in Wales - Theatr Genedlaethol and National Theatre Wales - are set to stage a joint production for the first time this weekend.

The Royal Opera House storage space near Aberdare will host {150}, external - the story of settlers who travelled to Patagonia to establish a Welsh-speaking colony there 150-years ago.

John McGrath, the artistic director of National Theatre Wales, says he has always wanted to collaborate with Theatr Genedlaethol.
