Newport prostitute area plans 'good thing' says support service
Designating an area of Newport for prostitutes would be a "good thing", the head of a sex worker support service has said.
Gwent Police is considering plans to have a non-residential area of Pill for prostitutes.
The plans follow a similar pilot scheme in the north of England.
Alex Feis-Bryce, chief executive of National Ugly Mugs, said any approach that moves away from enforcement is a good idea.
