Hart team rescue trapped 'casualty' in training exercise

White watch from Wales' Hazardous Area Response Team (Hart) has been rehearsing rescue techniques during a training week.

The specialist team of ambulance staff have been trained to provide life-saving care in hostile environments such as industrial accidents, natural disasters, as well as chemical, biological, radioactive, nuclear and terrorist incidents.

The team is also deployed to major road traffic collisions and large-scale fires.

The team simulated rescuing a casualty from a confined space.
