Looking back on Operation Jasmine care home failings

Three nurses have been struck off for poor care - some of which led to patient deaths - at a Caerphilly county home.

Brithdir Care Home, near Bargoed, was one of six investigated as part of Operation Jasmine - the biggest investigation of its kind.

After several years and millions of pounds, no-one was prosecuted.

Paul Heaney looks back on why it has taken so long for someone to be held to account.

He spoke to friends and relatives of care home residents, along with Gwent Police Chief Constable Jeff Farrar.
