Edwina Hart hopes for long term Fox TV link

A US TV giant has signed a deal to take over a south Wales film studios which has been largely mothballed for the last eight years.

Dragon International went into administration with debts of £15m before it could open after being beset by delays.

Only one film was made there but now Fox 21 Television Studios is leasing the studios, dubbed Valleywood.

Medieval action series The Bastard Executioner is already being filmed.

Economy Minister Edwina Hart told BBC Wales economics correspondent Sarah Dickins she believed the relationship would continue for a long time.
