Art a 'final refuge' for painter Osi Rhys Osmond

The final painting by celebrated Welsh artist Osi Rhys Osmond will be displayed in public for the first time.

Self Portrait was created during the last month of Osmond's life, while he was treated for cancer.

It will be shown at Chapter in Cardiff before eventually reaching its final home at the new Maggie's support centre for people with cancer, which opens at Velindre hospital in Cardiff in 2017.

A film documentary was also made with Osmond before his death in March.

BBC Wales' arts and media correspondent Huw Thomas reports.
