UKIP will break up cosy assembly consensus, says Farage
Any UKIP assembly members elected in 2016 would "break up a very cosy consensus" in Cardiff Bay, the party's leader Nigel Farage has pledged as UKIP holds its party conference in Doncaster.
He told BBC Wales it would be "ridiculous" to talk about "doing deals" and "doing coalitions" if the party was successful in the assembly election, but UKIP would play a "constructive part" in the Senedd.
Mr Farage also insisted UKIP Wales would help decide key candidates for May's poll, amid claims high profile figures from outside Wales would be selected for the more winnable regional list seats.
He promised UKIP AMs would "make some fresh new arguments".
