Ariana Faris delivers help to migrants on Lesbos

Ariana Faris has returned from the Greek island of Lesbos where she helped hundreds of migrants turning up on the shore by giving out items such as donated clothing and water she bought using £5,000 raised at home in Cardiff from other people wanting to help.

Ms Faris, a psychotherapist, said the money helped to buy crates of fruit, hundreds of bottles of water, medicines, blankets and other items.

"The frustration was in not being able to help everybody," she said, explaining how she delivered the items from the back of her car.
