Tryweryn: Footage of Capel Celyn before it was flooded
The 50th anniversary of the drowning of the Welsh village of Capel Celyn will be marked on 21 October.
It was flooded in 1965 to create Tryweryn reservoir, to supply water for the people of Liverpool.
This video includes archive footage from the BBC's former Welsh language weekly news programme O Sul i Sul which shows Capel Celyn, including the school, in the early 1960s before they were flooded.
