Archive: Bobsleigher Malcolm 'Gomer' Lloyd in team practice

Welsh bobsleigher Malcolm "Gomer" Lloyd, who has died aged 68, took part in four Winter Olympics in the 1970s and 80s, coming 10th in the two-man bobsleigh event in Sarajevo 1984.

Archive footage from BBC Wales in 1979 shows him with a partner practising the run.

Mr Lloyd went on to coach at top levels, including taking charge of teams from the UK, US, Italy and Russia. He was the current South Korean coach when he died on Sunday.
