Little Haven is declared the UK's first smoke-free beach

The UK's first smoke-free beach is Little Haven in Pembrokeshire after a ban was declared by the council.

It also applies to e-cigarettes and came into effect on Wednesday to coincide with National No Smoking Day.

Thirty-five pupils from Broad Haven Primary School launched the 12-month trial, to highlight children taking up smoking in Wales.
