Euro 2016: 'threat' posed by banned Wales fans travelling

Banned Wales fans travelling to Euro 2016 games pose a safety risk, according to the head of a police delegation.

Supt Steve Furnham, of South Wales Police, will head up a group of officers from Wales travelling to France for the tournament.

A total of 87 people from Wales who have been violent at football matches must surrender their passports to the police by Wednesday night.

Supt Furnham said: "Their behaviour is behaviour we don't want to see at football games be it here or abroad."
