Circuit of Wales: 'This is decision time'

Developers behind plans for a new motor racing track in Blaenau Gwent are calling on the Welsh Government to back revised plans for the £375m project.

It would see the government agree to underwrite about half the cost if the Circuit of Wales got into difficulties.

A request to guarantee the entire project at Ebbw Vales was rejected by ministers earlier this year.

The government will set out its views on the proposals later this week.

The Circuit of Wales' chief executive Martin Whitaker said he remained optimistic.
