Welsh Ambulance Service 'leading way' for UK

Richard Lee, director of operations for the Welsh Ambulance Service, says Wales is now "leading the way" in the UK for the way the system works.

For the last nine months, the service has been trialling a new way of working involving a "traffic light" system for categorising 999 calls.

Mr Lee, a paramedic himself, said they were getting to the sickest people quicker than before and a better management of what patients need best.
