Beatrix Potter's Gwaenynog Hall 'garden' marks anniversary

It is the 150th anniversary of the birth of Beatrix Potter and although the children's author was most closely associated with the Lake District, she took inspiration from numerous visits to Wales.

The garden at Gwaenynog Hall, Denbighshire, was depicted in The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies as it was the home of her aunt and uncle.

It will be opened to the public by appointment as part of the celebrations.

Matthew Richards reports.
