Festival No.6 heavy rain 'challenging'

Conditions at Gwynedd music event Festival No.6 have been "challenging" following heavy rain at the site, the event's director has said.

Hundreds of cars have been stuck for hours at Gwynedd's Festival No.6 park and ride car park after 2in (5cm) of rainfall on Saturday.

Portmeirion festival-goers claim they have been waiting for up to four hours as tractors tow cars out of the water-logged field.

Event director Jon Drape said weather conditions had been extreme but staff were doing what they could to minimise disruption.
