'Creepy clowns' could face arrest, Gwent PCC warns

Sightings of "creepy clowns" have been reported across Wales, with police warning people they could be arrested for scaring others.

Complaints have been made across the UK about the fad, which started in the US.

Dyfed-Powys and South Wales forces have each received about 30 reports over the weekend and North Wales Police said it was aware of incidents.

Gwent Police had 18 reports, including clowns "peering through windows".

Gwent police and crime commissioner Jeff Cuthbert said the culprits could face serious consequences.
