Public urged to send dashcam evidence of reckless drivers

Reckless drivers in north Wales could be prosecuted through "dashcam" evidence sent in by the public.

North Wales Police is encouraging motorists to send in their footage of poor driving.

Operation Snap has been launched in response to "ever-increasing submissions" of video and photographic evidence.

But there is some dispute over whether the public should be taking on a role traditionally done by the police, and whether the footage tells the whole picture.
