River Teifi pollution: Death of fish 'a disaster'
Pollution of the River Teifi in Ceredigion which has killed at least 1,000 fish has been described as "an environmental disaster".
The majority of salmon, sea trout and brown trout have been killed over a six-mile (10km) stretch of the river following a slurry leak.
The pollution was first reported on Saturday and control measures have since been put in place to stop the pollution spreading.
Conservationist Iolo Williams said it would take decades for the river to recover.
