Brexit: Andrea Leadsom seeking 'best possible' Welsh farming deal
The "best possible deal" will be sought for Welsh farmers, UK Environment Secretary Andrea Leadsom has said.
She met her Welsh counterpart Lesley Griffiths in Cardiff, who said she needed to know the UK government would "fight" for Wales in trade deals.
On a visit to Cardiff Metropolitan University’s Food Innovation Centre, Mrs Leadsom told BBC Wales economics correspondent Sarah Dickins she was working closely with the Welsh Government and had heard concerns about losing access to the single market after the UK leaves the European Union.
