Gareth Bale hails Wales Euro 2016 history makers

Gareth Bale has won two Champions Leagues, he was the world's most expensive footballer and inspired his country to a European Championship semi-finals.

But now the Real Madrid superstar will join his Wales teammates in becoming a movie star.

Bale plays a leading role in the new sporting documentary Don't Take Me Home which immortalises Wales' heroics in their first major championships for almost 60 years.

Don't Take Me Home, named after the anthem of Welsh football fans in France, premieres in Cardiff on Wednesday before general release in cinemas across the UK on Friday.

Bale has fond memories of the Welsh football team's memorable summer at Euro 2016.
