Burst hydrant in Llandudno Junction sends water 40ft in air

Water supplies to customers in Conwy county could be affected after a hydrant burst, sending water 40ft into the air.

The incident happened at Marl Drive, Llandudno Junction, on Wednesday.

Welsh Water said its engineers were dealing with the problem.

"We are very sorry for the inconvenience this may be causing and assure anybody affected that we are doing all we can to restore normal service," said a spokesman.
