Gambling addict warns of 'a constant spiral' at conference

A woman has spoken of her gambling addiction as a Cardiff conference takes place looking at this issue.

The Excessive Gambling event brings together specialists, politicians and addicts.

Sarah Grant, who is speaking at the conference, told BBC Wales she found her addiction was "not taken seriously", particularly compared to drug and alcohol addictions, with some gambling treatments only available for men.

The Welsh Government said, in general, there was no medical intervention for gambling.
