Abergavenny farmer on 'huge impact' of TB in cattle

Farmers in parts of Wales badly hit by bovine TB are being urged to make breeding decisions that could improve resistance to the disease.

The Farmers' Union of Wales (FUW) said latest research on cattle genetics provided "another tool in the toolbox".

Farmer Emma Robinson, from near Abergavenny in Monmouthshire, talks of the "huge impact" of a TB case in her dairy cattle.

The farm had been selling raw milk at the farm gate and at farmers' markets.

She is now under restrictions and facing an "incredibly anxious time" of waiting for another test in December.
