Downing Street Christmas tree grown in Swansea

A Christmas tree grown in Gower has been selected to stand proud outside Downing Street.

The 6m (20ft) tree grown by Robert Morgan, from Three Crosses, beat off 200 other trees produced by fellow growers to secure the coveted spot at Number 10.

"It's great to be recognised," he said.

In 2014, he won a place in the same competition to provide a Nordmann fir for the prime minister's pillared state dining room.
