Mountain Ash job-seeker on the difficulties of finding work

Dan Pitt, on universal credit in Mountain Ash, describes the difficulty in finding work in the south Wales valleys.

He spends 25 hours a week looking online for work in the local area - ideally in an office or reception.

Unlike those struggling with rent, he lives with his mother because he can't afford to move out.

And he has been advised not to look for jobs in Cardiff because it's too expensive to live there and he will not be able to afford to travel to and from work.
