More knives among young gangs, says police chief

Children as young as eight have been caught carrying knives in Wales, research by BBC Wales has found.

The eight-year-old was dealt with by Dyfed-Powys Police, a Freedom of Information request to Wales' four forces revealed.

South Wales Police Chief Constable Matt Jukes said officers were seeing more young people carrying knives.
