Fire crew rescues dog from quarry ledge in Swansea

Fire crews rescued a dog which became stuck on a ledge 50ft above a quarry after an earthquake which struck south Wales on Saturday.

Basil, a collie cross, was found on the ledge after the 4.4 magnitude quake and was rescued by a team from Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service.

Basil has been reunited safe and well with his owners Colin and Margaret Cribb.
