Welsh Water demand after snow brings 'huge challenges'

Welsh Water is "working around the clock" to fix burst water mains as demand for water peaks after Storm Emma.

Alun Shurmer, director of customer strategy and communications, said the snow had caused "huge challenges" for the firm as they tried to locate leaks and burst pipes.

He apologised to anyone affected and said they were working to keep water flowing to customers.
