Rhyl RNLI crew pick up dog half a mile out to sea

This is the moment a crew of Rhyl RNLI volunteers rescue a dog half a mile out in the sea.

They were alerted after the pet got carried away chasing seagulls into the water.

A Rhyl RNLI spokesperson said the animal continued to pursue the birds as they went further from shore.

The boat crew were able to reunite the dog with its thankful owner back on the beach.
