Covid: 'Stay at home' plea amid new year lockdown warning

It is in "everybody's interest" to comply with the new firebreak lockdown regulations in order to avoid another one in the new year, Economy Minister Ken Skates has said.

Mr Skates believes the 17-day lockdown across Wales which begins on Friday could help supress the spread of the virus to see the country through to Christmas.

He was speaking at the Welsh Government's daily news briefing.
