Covid vaccine approval 'great news' says trial volunteer

A volunteer who took part in trials of the Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine said its approval was "great news".

The rollout of the second approved vaccine will begin next week.

It was designed by scientists at the University of Oxford and was approved for use in the UK on Wednesday.

The UK has ordered 100 million doses - enough to vaccinate 50 million people.
