'I got split from my five brothers and sisters aged two'
Angharad Roberts was split from her five brothers and sisters when she went into care aged two.
"I felt lonely and I didn't like it. I had to move around, live with different families, go to different schools," she said.
Wales has the highest proportion of children in care in the UK and the rate has risen steadily since 2003.
Donald Forrester of Cardiff University said a child in Wales was 50% more likely than a child in England to be placed into care.
Child psychologist Mair Edwards said she welcomed the "more cautious approach" taken in Wales in her experience.
