Iron Age hillfort at risk from the sea in Gwynedd

Archaeologists have returned to the site of an ancient Welsh hillfort to uncover more of its secrets before it is lost to the sea.

Two years ago, excavations by a beach near Caernarfon unearthed one of the largest Iron Age roundhouses discovered in the region.

But the site at Dinas Dinlle is slowly falling into the ocean.

It is thought to be more than 2,000 years old.
