Omicron wave in Wales will peak in January, warns minister

The Welsh government has said it is expecting a significant wave of the Omicron variant of coronavirus this winter.

Health Minister Eluned Morgan said it was expected to peak in Wales by the end of January.

In response, officials plan to offer all adults a booster dose of a vaccine by that time.
