King Charles III: Colonel talks of Wales' 'bond' with the King

A retired colonel has spoken of how the King has had "a particular bond" with Wales.

Lt Col Mike Snook MBE stood to queue outside Cardiff Castle to see King Charles III.

He said: "This is his first trip as King. Being the Prince of Wales is one thing but being the King is completely different."

He added he is also celebrating the new Prince of Wales.
