XL bully attack: Woman dies after telling daughter she loves her

A woman whose mother was fatally attacked by an XL bully cross wants the UK government to do more to protect people from the dogs.

Gail Patrick's mother Shirley died after the attack at her home near Caerphilly in December 2022.

The 86-year-old grandmother was in a coma after the dog "ran straight for her face", leaving her with extensive injuries.

She died of organ failure.
