Jack Sargeant on his experience of living with suicide

Politician Jack Sargeant has spoken about his experience of living with suicide.

His father, Welsh government minister Carl Sargeant, and his best friend, Jamie Wynne, both took their lives.

Mr Sargeant, the Member of the Senedd (MS) for Alyn and Deeside, said this was tough and that he suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and depression.

“You wouldn’t wish the pain and the suffering that families go through and people go through following a suicide on anybody in the world,” he said.
