Gwynedd car cave: Cleaning up 'cavern of lost souls'

A total of 30 discarded inflatable dinghies have been removed from an old mine known as the "car cave".

Anthony Taylor and a group of friends went to see the 30 to 40-year-old pile of discarded cars and TVs, but also found much more recent rubbish - including bin bags, dinghies and graffiti.

The popularity of the old mine boomed after a video on YouTube about six years ago, he said.

He said: "It just came into the conversation: 'We've got to clean up that place'."
