Howells: No Labour win under Corbyn

Former Labour minister Kim Howells has said civil war within the Labour Party is inevitable, following Jeremy Corbyn's election as leader.

Kim Howells said Labour must reconcile its differences to have a chance of winning the 2020 general election.

Despite Mr Corbyn's landslide win, Mr Howells said winning the votes of the wider electorate was a different matter.

The former Pontypridd MP added he did not believe the party could win a general election under Mr Corbyn.
