Corbyn praises Welsh Labour for showing' better way'

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has praised his Welsh colleagues for showing the way to a "better country".

He told the Welsh Labour conference in Llandudno the party had an "inspiring record" in power in Wales, especially in its running of the health service.

Mr Corbyn hailed the free prescriptions on offer and said the Welsh government had not "picked a fight" with junior doctors.

He said Welsh Labour had shown the way to "take on the Tories" and improve life for everyone in society.
