Welsh Assembly: UKIP 'does not rule out' Labour deal

UKIP is not ruling out a deal with Labour to back the re-election of Carwyn Jones as first minister, one of its assembly members has said.

There was deadlock in the Senedd on Wednesday as the party joined Plaid Cymru and the Conservatives in voting for Plaid leader Leanne Wood.

With Lib Dem Kirsty Williams supporting Labour, the result was tied at 29-29 for Mr Jones and Ms Wood.

UKIP AM Mark Reckless said if Labour offered concessions on Severn Bridge tolls or the M4 relief road, it could change his party's view.
